How to measure properly
- Connect your computer directly to the router with a LAN cable, not over Wi-Fi.
- Turn off other devices and stop running downloads.
- For reliable evidence, use the Federal Network Agency’s measurement at breitbandmessung.de.
Which values apply to you?
The maximum, normally available and minimum speeds of your plan are in your contract summary and the product information sheet. You can also find them under contract documents.
If the speed differs significantly
Please get in touch with us first, we can often find the cause quickly.
As a consumer, section 57(4) of the German Telecommunications Act gives you rights in case of significant, continuous or regularly recurring deviations: you can reduce the fee proportionately or terminate the contract for cause. The deviation must have been established using a method provided or certified by the Federal Network Agency.
